Midwest College of Cosmetology provides professional training courses in cosmetology, nail technology, and esthetics. Students can further their education by learning the latest techniques offered by professionals in the beauty industry. The cosmetology curriculum mandates 1500 hours of education. Esthetics is a 750-hour program and nail technology encompasses 350 hours.

Classes in professional rules and regulations in the industry, anatomy and physiology, salon business management, customer relations, and job marketing skills round out the cosmetology curriculum.

Students wishing to be a registered licensed cosmetologist can also work toward an associate of applied science degree through Lincoln College in Normal, Illinois on a full-time or part-time basis. MCC students can also live on campus in an apartment style residence hall. For students seeking assistance in financing their education, financial aid opportunities are available.

As an educational leader, MCC educates students through hands on training and offers a full line of salon and day spa services to walk in customers at a discount.
