Midwest College of Cosmetology Students Place at Illinois Competition
Normal, IL - March 26, 2008 - On January 27, students from Midwest College of Cosmetology traveled to Tinley Park, Illinois, for the Illinois Association for Cosmetology Schools Student Competition. Over 100 students from around the state competed in 5 categories: Long Hair, Color to the Extreme – Total Fashion, Club Mix – Total Fashion, Makeup, and Nails.
Midwest College of Cosmetology took a total of five cosmetology students to the competition. Competing students, all sophomores and juniors, made their marks in the differing events. Martina Kruer of Frankfort competed in Color to the Extreme. Two MCC students also placed at the event: Victoria Moore of Pontiac took 9th in Club Mix, and Zara Dawkins of Champaign took 8th in Club Mix.
